They should fix the workshop's download

When you subscribe to an addon, you have to OPEN left 4 dead to make the addon load, and everytime you leave the game and then re-join, you have to WAIT that all the addons will work! taking hours or minutes from your life.
They (developers of course) should make something like Gmod, when you subscribe to a workshop addon, the addon will automatically load even without left 4 dead open and you don't have to wait when you join l4d2.

You want the simplest way that doesn't need to wait any longer? Copy all of your mods from "workshop" folder to "addons" folder.& then disable all of your workshop mods to prevent conflicts between same mods.& set the "addonlist.txt" to Read-Only to prevent it from being changed when the mods are loading when launching L4D2 again. I usually do that when I just want to play quickly without having to wait the mods to finish loading
