Just depends on the interests of people, for instance I'm not interested in anything modern/sci-fi. The 19th century is more my style, I like the allure of armies still dressed in colorful uniforms and using single-shot or early repeating guns.

You'd have to hope there are modders that find sci-fi aesthetics interesting and work to make mods for it. Perhaps look through AokiY's Workshop profile, they have some very nice weapons that can give off sci-fi impressions.

i mean halo exists but just barely and alot of the halo stuff is outdated most of the scifi stuff is like starwars which isnt bad per say but man it would be so cool to see like mass effect stuff have like a reaper boss map as well that would go hard.
