Mod Requests: Accessibilty Features (please be nice)
Tried looking to see if anyone has done this, but I didn't see any.

I have a phsyical disability that makes it hard to move my mouse super accurately and makes me more prone to RSD/carpal tunnel/hand sprains. It sucks real bad, not really something I can do anything about. I know Barotrauma is supposed to be difficult, but I have a couple things that I'd love to at least have options for (like how we can turn off certain other difficulty features!)

1. This is probably the biggest one for me. Walking the direction you're actually trying to walk without constantly having to move the mouse would be fantastic. Again, I know that is supposed to part of the difficulty/strategy, but after about 20 minutes my mouse hand is stiff and my wrist is throbbing. I'd love to be able to play this without that happening. There are toggles for turning off other difficulty features, so I don't know why this one should be any different.

2. Doors. There are a couple mods on Workshop for auto-doors on bases and cities, but they're outdated. If someone could make a version that is compatible with the current version, I'd be stoked. It's not the worst thing in the world, I can just follow my crewmates when they're going around when we're out exploring and I think those are neat to have to open. Just in the ships and neutral zones, where there are so many doors so close together.

I think the game is real neat so far, and I'll continue playing even if it hurts my hand, but it would be sooo so neat to not have to keep an ice pack/wristbrace handy to play a video game. :')

My suggestion would be an auto hotkey script. You press your favorite button on your keyboard or mouse and it forces your cursor into a predictable location in the direction you are walking. This also could be a good way to accurately click on doors. And clicking your favorite button again turns the script off.
I would just mention be careful where you get the script. And which games you use it in.

You could try configuring Steam Input for an XBox controller or whatever input device suits you, the more buttons the better as Baro needs plenty of them, if you want to keep both hands on a controller. I've tried this and it was playable, if sub-optimal, so could be an option for you to consider if you're not playing crazy competitive sessions. Use of a Shift button to increase the utility of your buttons may be required (e.g. for inventory slot hotkeys).
