Modded character select screen overlap

I have a few mods that change their respective character art in the selection screen. I don't know why, but only one of them works at a time. Is there any way to solve this?

The game stores all of the character icons in the same file, so using multiple icon mods will have one overwrite the others, since the game can only pick a single file to load.

If you're adept at file editing, you might be able to place all of your desired character art into the same file. This will remove any conflicts and let you view all of the icons at once, but you will need a baseline knowledge of where the game stores its image files and how to change them.
