I want to make a mod that adds Lex from Bookworm Adventures to Issac and you have to spell to kill things. I either want to use arrow keys to move and the letters on the keyboard to spell stuff or use the mouse to click letters (like in bookworm) and W A S D to move like default.


I want to add all the treasures from bookworm as items. You will probably only find them in libraries and maybe very rarely in treasure rooms. Some would modify the letters, some would do other stuff like spelling specific words does more damage.


That one fox lady with the crystal ball will appear in the arcade sometimes to let you play a minigame. If you do good enough you can win gem letters, potions, or even an item. 1 red potion will heal, 1 green will buff you for 2 rooms, and 1 blue will clear all bad effects. Items granted will be one of the treasures from bookworm or something from the crane game pool.


Does anyone know how I could implement these into a mod?
If you are willing to write the code, that would be great! I have no clue how to write code, but I can help with sprites for everything seeing as I have the game, and i like to draw stuff sometimes (pixel art included).
