Mining veins has been vanilla for quite a few years now.

but it sucks. it only mines visual ores. i want like the mod where it mines all connected ores

Vanilla solution does that, as soon as new ore is exposed, the game auto-tags it for mining.

The biggest difference is the vanilla version doesn't "cheat" and show you how big the vein is before you expose it through actually doing the mining.
