First and foremost, we want to express our sincere gratitude for the incredible tools and open platform your team has consistently provided to creators. Thanks to the Dota 2 Workshop support, we have been able to bring our creative ideas to life and receive enthusiastic feedback from players worldwide.

During our development process, however, we’ve encountered a technical limitation: the current 2GB upload size limit for Workshop Tools frequently causes upload failures when updating our game content. As we plan to introduce more detailed models, animations, and visual effects, this size constraint has forced us to compress or even remove certain assets, severely limiting our creative freedom. We understand that other developers are facing similar challenges, particularly those working to create unique and polished games that push the boundaries of what’s possible in custom games.

With this in mind, we kindly request your team to consider relaxing the current upload size limit to better support more intricate game content. This adjustment would significantly alleviate the pressure on our development process and allow us to focus on innovation, resulting in richer gameplay experiences for our players.

We fully recognize the importance of platform stability and resource management. As such, we are more than happy to collaborate with your team on potential optimization solutions, such as resource chunking or asynchronous loading, to find a balanced approach between performance and creativity.
