Full clothes destruction?
Is there a mod that would enable clothing to be completely destroyed? As in, unequipped, and removed from backpack. I'd love it if this was a feature in the game

I don't think modders have gotten the handle on the clothing tearing mechanic, I've yet to find a clothing mod that even had tearing implemented.

Currently not a lot but there are decent mods that do. They are on Nexus. There's also a mod that increases the damage tears on all base game clothes that has tearing. Though it might not look the best for some outfits.

Clothing damage is essentially a transparency filter, this could be altered to mask an entire item or wardrobe, I'm pretty sure this technique is used during the shower cutscene and reaper execution.

The clothes are still equipped but simply not visible, which means in the case of bra items or other clothing that constrain the character physics it would look a little weird as the breast shape would no longer be natural but compressed, for the sake of consistency all clothing items that do constrain the physics would need to be altered to remove that constraint.

This is a huge undertaking to not only edit the physics data but also change the transparency mask for every single clothing item, not to say there isn't a mod author up to the task but still it'd be substantial.

For the topic of the OP even though it was posted some time ago, I do not believe it likely for a mod to change the base game mechanics making clothing removed from the player inventory when getting damaged.

The reaper instakill looks good enough for clothes being removed and it works for clothes mods. Surely someone could figure out a way to utilize that to get a similar effect.
