OWB, Kaisereich, Road to 56. These 3 are the most popular mods for a reason. They are very well supported, including getting some internal support from paradox themselves. Then on top of that they are incredibly well fleshed out and super fun.
OWB is the fallout world reimagined as hoi4. Will warn you this is a super chunky mod and will run accordingly.
Kaisereich is a world in which Germany won WWI. There have been a bunch of spin off mods trying to copy it but none come close to the world building or scale of this mod. Pair it with it's official music mod and you have got a hell of a world to explore. Road to 56 is more focussed on the normal world but is built around going alt historical. Lets you play longer, try out whackier focus trees and provides support for almost all countries. Try all 3 of these. They are great !

Props for the recommendations. What are the recommendations as far as historical accuracy?

For added context, I'd judge a 10/10 being a perfect simulation of WW2 from start to finish, and 0/10 being whatever the hell HoI4 is.

I really don't care about historical accuracy, Kinda want chaos but also alternate timelines

I would reccomend uninstalling TGW redux
