yes, the game has a steep learning curve, but there are enough guides out there that helps.
don't start using ga,e-changeing mods in the beginning, first learn the game (which can take a long time).
I do use some QoL mods, but they're mostly map and icons colouring mods:
- colored railways
- tanks icons (US, Germany, Red army etc...)
- Coloured buttons GoE
- non-reflective water
- alternmative naval base icons
- alternative air base icons
- dooms map choices
- modifier icons
- historical flag pack
