Making these Blender models requires a lot less "arcane programming knowledge" then one might think. There is a verified website that sells vector diagrams of nearly every car ever produced (I won't name the site, since I probably can't, just Google search "vector diagram car blueprints"). Many prints are free, most are dirt cheap.
If you download Blender for free, and go to Youtube and search for "making 3D car models in Blender using vector blueprints" or some version of that, you will be of to the races in no time.
Btw. The website that has the vector blueprints does indeed have the Jeep Comanche vector blueprint. It is a verified site, I have used it often and never ran into problems.
