how do you insert a .mp3 file into a script?
i been trying to figure it out. can anybody help me?

what do you mean? If you meant by using the .mp3 file as a asset in that map you first need to save that map in a file folder, then drag your .mp3 files in it, then when you add the custom sound block to your events type in the file name+.mp3, it should work then
