Fraymakers Workshop 24-Hour Challenge
made a thread in the discord but i gonna post this here too in case others want to try that arent there, share results here if you wanna

**1.** The character MUST be finished within 24 hours for the challenge to be considered a success. This means that your character must have all animations in AND have coding and character stats in at LEAST an alpha/prototype state to be considered finished. In other words, Fraynkie clones do not count. This is the most important rule for reasons that are probably obvious.

**2.** If your character has a full moveset (all normals, aerials, throws, specials, crash & ledge attack, etc) and all basic animations in, the character can be considered a success regardless of how much testing was done or whether or not said character is where you wanted them to be. To clarify, if moves have all basic functionality finished and you run out of time, for instance, the character can still be posted and considered a success.

**3.** It's up to you when you want your challenge to start before you've started working on your character. Looking for the right sprites, setting up your folders, organizing the sprites, organizing your audio, setting up your plugins, properly setting up your manifest and character IDs, etc does **not** need to be a part of the challenge if you do not want it to because of this. **However**, the challenge **must** start as soon as you start changing things inside of fraytools itself. This includes removing, adding or otherwise changing animations, changing character stats, coding inside of the script files, making or changing projectiles, making custom game objects, adding *any* type of collision boxes, coding inside of frame scripts, changing animation stats, and changing the character's AI.

**4.** When you start the challenge, make sure you're timing yourself with something that you can either screenshot or take a picture of if you wish to share your results. Any type of stopwatch or timer application, website or device is fine, as long as it's something that's keeping track of how long you're taking.

**5.** Real life is messy and you don't always know if something important might interrupt your challenge. If you need to, pause your timer and step away to take care of your real life necessities/responsibilities/health first and foremost. Taking care of yourself and anything important in your life should take priority over the challenge, and you can come back and resume as soon as you are able to. However, if it's something that is taking you away from the challenge for an extended period of time (say, a week or so) it is likely best to start over and try the challenge again some other time.

**6.** This challenge is made with characters in mind. If you want to make an incredibly complicated assist or stage with this challenge, however, feel free.

**7.** The challenge is over and a success the moment you feel the character is good enough to be released to the workshop, so long as rules (1) and (2) are true.

**8.** Put somewhere on your workshop creation's steam page that your creation was made for a 24 hour challenge.

**9.** Have fun and try not to stress out over this silly challenge, if you feel yourself getting overwhelmed it's a much better option to step away and take a break or to stop the challenge entirely and try again another time than to force yourself through it.

**10.** Just like. remember this isnt a contest or competition or anything unless yall try to make it one, there arent judges or anything of that sort so if you want to make your own addendums to the rules its not like anybody is gonna stop you lmao. I would just recommend saying what those changes are so that others can follow and see how you did.
