Publishing Overwriting
Hi,

I am trying to publish a second mod for Star Ruler 2, but am running into a probem. This second mod is similar to my first, but override a few files that other peoples mods may change as well, so I want to leave my original mod in place, while adding this second mod for people to use.

The problem is when I upload my second mod, which is in a different directory, has a different name, and a different modinfo.txt, it seems to be overwriting my old mod.

The new mod has the same subscribers, but has the name and image of the new mod... and the old mod goes missing. I can revert these changes by re-uploading my old mod.

Is there something I am missing? Some name or ID that I need to change to allow the two mods to exist seperatly?

Thanks.

There's a .steam file in the mod folder that determines what mod in the workshop gets written, you probably copied it over when you duplicated the mod. If you delete that file it'll create a new workshop entry the next time you upload.
