Censorship Mods?
Some people are obviously going to feel very VERY VERY ANGRY that I want help to find mods for the purpose of censorship. If you are offended or not pleased with this topic you can leave.

What I'm trying to find (Google is failing me) are mod(s) that disable gibbing and remove blood decals and splatter.

I dont really understand why anyone should be angry let alone VERY VERY ANGRY. Its your choice after all. Personally I dont subscribe to watermelon breasts but Im not planning to force everyone else to do the same. Im planning to look for a few mods myself after the recent exploits of the Valve team so will keep an eye open for you.

Im not sure anyones going to be angry with you about that. Nothing offensive. You are not asking for everyone else to be censored.

In general people react negatively to me asking about censorship.

It isn't censorship if you as a consumer want to madify your personal gameplay experience in a way that doesn't affect any of the rest of us. You might try http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36/? I don't use it and the comments there are mixed as to its effectiveness, but that may be a result of other stuff folks have installed.

Is it possible to avoid decapitation in cutscenes or normal combat?
DavidJCobb 1 24 Apr, 2015 @ 2:45pm
Offhand, I can tell you that cutscenes are going to be an issue. You'd have to modify the scripts and possibly even the animations in use.

The decapitation in the intro is a tricky situation. The Helgen intro has a reputation for being... temperamental. Messing with it is never a good idea. However, there are some well-known mods that can let you skip the intro entirely; Live Another Life comes to mind. So if you don't place much value on a cart ride and a simple opening dungeon, then you can avoid that decapitation, I think.

Without Helgen... I think the execution in Solitude is the only other decapitation cutscene. You'll probably need to look for a specific mod to change that, and you may not find one.

Is it possible to look away? Like are you required to watch certain things?

Also what about combat?

I think you can look away from the Helgen scene, but only briefly. A man is executed at the chopping block in front of you; you can look away. Very shortly after, you yourself are called up to the block, and you can't look away. I remember the man's corpse vanishing into thin air (due to a bug, maybe), but I don't remember if his severed head sticks around.

In Solitude, you retain full control of your character and you have the option of completely ignoring Roggvir's execution. The entire scene takes place right at the city entrance, the first time you walk in; there is some dialogue before he is beheaded.

In both cases, the killed individuals don't stick around forever. Helgen itself is destroyed, leaving no trace of the execution; and in Solitude, Roggvir's corpse is removed relatively soon.

Can't say I know anything about removing combat decapitations, unfortunately.
