Map Making questions
There isnt much info I could find the store page says you can make maps but it isnt stated how to do so, I pull that I need a program to produce a bsp file, then need to edit a text file and use a program to zip it. What program do I need to make a bsp file, is there a free program, is there a good program. Do I need a 3d modeling program, if so what ones would you suggest? Very interested in making a map.

The program is called Hammer World Editor. It's free. Available in Steam -> Library -> Tools -> Nuclear Dawn Authoring Tools.
Creating maps for ND is not much different from creating maps for other Source Engine based games like Counter Strike Source, CS:GO, L4D, TF2, HL2 etc. So if you're totally new, you'll have to find some tutorials on web, mostly on youtube.com and see how to get started.

This is documentation:

I'm completely new to doing this, but I have tried things similar to it, thanks for your help and quick reply, I'm going to get started reading over all of this :)

yeah, but be aware that there almost no tutorials for Nuclear Dawn. You'll have to use those for Counter Strike Source or Team Fortress 2 or L4D2. And be prepared to invest about 100 hours in learning before you'll be able to make something.

I figured that, I'm looking over the first steps of decompiling and working with hammer and it seems like a lot, but I should prevail. I love playing css, so even if I can't finish anything soon it should be something fun to work on, and it probably will take a long time. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction :approved:
