Mac troubles. does the level creator even work for mac? or do i need the delux vertion?

Iv been trying to get the workshop/level editer to work on my mac. I also would like to make custom wall pannals, storys, campain, charictor portrats, ect.

but for the life of me I cant figure it out. the program itself "the creator, the game funtions fine" will not open, plus it says I need 1.1.1 verion for it to work, but Its not in need of an update.
is there some sort of toutrial to work around being on a mac or am I just boned? I have the basic vertion of shawdowrun returns. mac vertion 10.9.4 currintly

It works fine on my Mac, but I need to open it by first launching the game, then opening the Content screen, and then clicking the Editor option; for some reason directly launching the editor from Finder doesn't work.

Oh, and the latest version of Shadowrun Returns is definitely 1.2.7, so make sure you're up to date.

but it should update automatically. so its a bit odd why its being quirk. i must be doing something wrong. ill get on it and see. thank you for the advice
