Subscribed has to be by far the best option allowing players to tailor what they use and see.
I personally have all, just cause I like to see the crazy set-ups people have.

My general question is that one of you (devs) said a while back that the default setting being 'subscribed' was accidental, and that it was going to be set to 'all' by the next patch (iirc this was back in autumn or so).
My other question is, could there be a better way to indicate to new players that there is a subscribed option available? new players usually do not navigate the menus much.

No, quite the opposite, subscribed is most deffinately intentional. We will probably never set to all as the default, there have been huge public debates about this.

I kinda agree with this, but an option under the custumize screen would be nice, rather than buried under games>workshop, a menu I think most non-workshop authors dont bother touching.
I see all too but the even the last time I had to look for it it took me a while to remember where it was. its a pretty hidden feature imo

besides being wrong, this is the wrong kind of attitude to take towards customization. yeah, there's a lot of items that are subpar on the workshop, but i'd hardly say they're ♥♥♥♥.

I would agree with this if alot of these items weren't really good... the approved items seems quite arbitrary to me.

There's a steam workshop button in the customization menu.

The current setting is fine.
