Total conversion mod
Hi, i'd like to make a total conversion mod with a new approach to balance between weapons. Does anyone know how to replace the original weapons, so that it is only that mod weapons will be available to play? Thank you.

You will have to include the vanilla weapons xml files in the mod, with their original file names. Just delete the vanilla weapons from the file. This should cause the game to overrite, rather than merge the mod files.

The only issue with that is when you load your existing soldiers with vanilla loadouts it can cause issues. Especially when you deactivate the mod.

Thank you for answer, Red Panda. If i good understand - i must put **riles.xml and **pistol.xml into mod structure, and.. in this xml files i just delete all content about vanila files and put my custom weapons?

equipment_rifles.xml
equipment_shotguns.xml
equipment.xml
equipment_patch_3.xml
equipment_patch_4.xml

Put them in a mod package, leave the file names intact, delete/comment out the weapons you dont want to show up in game.

Experiment.
