Unless someone knows a better way i seem to need to use the in game editor from the workshop to make my dream of an earth map a reality....:/

There is a good mod I saw that makes these maps and you can even play with the settings. Just search by map scripts and then choose the map generator called perfect world. It does its job wonderfully.
