We're not having any paid DLC, so don't count on it ;)

So it‘s okay that any content created for this game will be free in any case because people have to pay only for copy of the game. That‘s great.

Most of us have been modders, so it would be a bit awkward if we went that route. However, that said I do think it's a nice gesture for modders to get something back for their hard work, if the item in question warants it. I'm not against it, and we wouldn't be making any money off of it as far asI know but I don't think it's merit in our case.

That's my personal take on it tho, not the entire company's :)

Plus, it's still up to the authors whether they want to charge or not. I think it could encourage modding and a side-effect would be more activity on your company's game, hence more chatter, hence more sales for you. There's only so far an arbitrary 4-star rating will take us. Positive reviews don't necessarily create incentive, or only go so far as to temporarily boost the ego of the mod creator. Start putting cash in their pockets and see what happens.

I think this is just wrong, idea is right this gives modder options.. of course modders CAN ask for little money if they want, but real problem is how they done it, for skyrim modder gets 25% of sales,(AFTER that item has sold for X of money) and 75% of sales goes to bethesda and valve. This is first thing what goes horribly wrong in my opinion.

Also there is problems with, stolen mods already, no quality checking, legal issues.. HUGE censorship, so many people is banned and comments deleted etc if you said anything bad about this system.

They should make Donation button instead of paid mods, thats all.

We have discussed in the past moderated cosmetic content may allow users to make $ but no maps, etc. like what's currently going on.

Hmm, you make some good points. I hadn't thought of those issues. Unless there are ways to solve those, perhaps it's best to avoid.
