Actually, we do have skins.

Playermodels could be a thing, but that could break things.

Well, it might, but what if the model is clientside? Plus, i dont think that it will break alot since its gonna have same hitboxes, aaaand goodnight. gonna check thread tomorrow. lol
Some players have replaced player models. One server did this.

I've replaced models before, it was a gigantic pain in the ass.

That being said, as long as you are fairly good at rigging to the current skeletons it can be done.

This is awesome. I would definitely be interested in seeing this function implemented and am curious to what extent this could be used.

As example, i ripped model of Dante from DMC3 and it had 4 textures. I managed them to work, so i think there is no limitations, but. Knowing that the downloading of textures might affect the connection to a few players, i am sure that there will be limitation to textures, so, just a question now.
Expected limitations for player models? (Of course, if you guys will be thinking about adding that kind of support)

I'd love to see a Raiden model using the HF blade. Would you be able to do something like this, Kirillian?

It is possible.

There was a model of Raiden already ripped and using Valve's bipped skeleton in Gmod it can be decompiled, and recompiled using BS's animations, BUT it can be happen only if:
1) The guy who made it will give me permission to use his model.
2) He will do it on his own. (doubt it, don't know if he has BS or not)
3) Rip the model by myself from MGR:R (it's gonna take time, due ripper's little problem. Not connected meshes, and source engine doesn't allows models like that to be imported, sadly.)

As For high frequency blade, it's already on workshop, not by me of course. Check it out, its really good model.
Ah, cool, I'm at least glad to know it's possible. I'd really like to see it. And yeah, I know about it, I subscribed to it today, I meant taking a cool screenshot that also has the HF blade in it once you can obain the Raiden model. But yeah, awesome job with this, man. Props.
