Does anyone know how to place the propane tank facing left or right?

I place a propane tank, then click on terrain rotator, and when I hover my mouse pointer over the tank, it rotate 90 degree. That's good. But after I save and load the map, it is standing up vertically again, I cannot figure out how to place it so it lay horizontally during game play.
