Incomplete Map
So Uhh...I haven't made a map in a while...I haven't really posted one here either i don't think...Like some people I took the Aztec map and tried to put my own spin on it but instead essentially just pilfered two map aspects and stuck them together...Anyway..

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=434898597

I had two days off work and wanted to go back to workshop for some building but never managed to complete the map.(It should work(but it looks like ♥♥♥♥)) Have a shot if you want Give me some pointers or even complete it so its respectable XD w/e Enjoy and Thanks for looking.

Edit.

I have reworked the map a little to make the door configurations better, More Freedom in route choice, less Spikes, Better Reward to difficulty ratio and removed some of the Corners that gave the feeling the map could play itself.

Okay I gave your map a few tries and here's my opinion

Bugs:
  • Checkpoints are kind of wild, going "Wrong way" sometimes just by doing the map, check the gradient for more informations.
  • Some bubbles lead you straight to a wall

Ambiance:
  • Graphics: N/A
  • General layout is original, I found nothing bad to the eye
  • ALOT of door / obstacles / boosters are not lined to the collision
  • Some doors don't open in the right direction (More 180°)

Gameplay:
  • The overall map is very misleading. I had no idea where to go most of the time, landed on spikes very easily or just "Wtf, why is there a wall here?"
  • I like the idea of huge shortcuts if you want to risk to go off camera.
  • There are far too many bubbles paths.
  • We have absolutely no idea which lever matches which door.
  • Sometimes doors don't even have levers.
  • I hate the concept of "Do the path I want and nothing else". You cannot really choose what to do. It's more like "take bubbles/this ramp, slide and do nothing until you get stopped". There's nothing much original to do and even if you try (Example at Main Loop 34), you land either on bubbles (your path) or end it by doing what the map wanted.
  • The left part (with climbing bubbles) is ultra misleading and very kill-friendly. If you don't know where bubbles are or their directions, you'll end up going against bubble's will and end up with nothing but falling.

I didn't list all the issues I found but my opinion is, even thought a good speed is available, we cannot chose to do it by ourselves and that's the reason why I didn't like your map.
"Sit and watch the cool shadows behind you" is not what I expect when I'm playing workshop. I expect "try this map multiple times to find cool routes to get on your own".
