In your game, click on an item in the object editor and click "steam workshop". You can then filter who can see it, give it some tags, and fill in the description. Click "upload", and you should be good to go! Once its uploaded, you should be able to find it under your "workshop items" link on your profile. From there you can see if anyone has subscribed to it, look at at post comments about it, and edit the description (if you desire punctation and don't want it in all caps).
Hope this was helpful! :)
