do you use SFO? or how do you spice up wh3?
its pretty common with vanilla version to hire doomstacks and smashing all with 2 armies, do you spice it up somehow? id like to see more variety in units and better ai behavior.

Use army cap mods to prevent doomstacks, theres a few choices on workshop. I also use mods that increase garrison sizes a bit to reduce steam rolling through settlements. I dont use mods that change AI behaviour personally, but they are on the workshop.

what SFO tries to do is add additional mechanics (not just units) for each race in the game. additional 'currency' to earn and spend, additional research items , and make that unique to each LL within each race to make campaigns more fun vs simple 'occupy everything'.

You also have to wait 4-5 months for an update when they have 8 guys, where as Radious is larger and has only 2 guys and gets updates in a week after a large update.

It's not as long as 4-5 months, more like 2 months. But yes it is still a long time which is one of the reasons I don't tend to play it as much now. Did try radious but it had far too much roster bloat for my liking, but otherwise was well made.

Tend to mostly play vanilla with some mods now

whats the difference between radious and sfo?
i mean im sure youve already noticed that after turn 40-50 you just auto resolve all the battles with 203 stacks close to each other to support, and only fight super rare in case of the enemys final army, how you deal with that? if youve found the way please list your mods here)
