I've never used it, but I can see that although it's packaged for authors of new modules, it can probably be used in the Official Campaigns, too.
Have a look at the Read Me. Decide which of the features you want to install. Open the corresponding .erf files with nwhak.exe (ships with the game), export the .ncs files (only) into your override folder.
This is at your own risk, of course, so back up your saved games before playing, so that you can revert if something goes wrong.
Now that we have EE, I guess you don't need the unofficial patches 1.70+ which are mentioned in the Vault description. Perhaps EE has improved those scripts, too, I can't tell without doing further analysis.
