Changing the gluon beam colour?
I went digging through the files to find the particles corresponding to the gluon gun and found particle_ring_wave_8, it's white though. Does anyone know where the settings for the colour can be found so I can change it from blue to something else?

It can be changed in the particle effect which is inside .pcf file.
There's a mod called "New Gluon Gun Particles" in gamebanana site, you can look into the files to see what is changed. But it's for old 2012 version of Black Mesa.

Could you link me to some software? I believe I did find that file but it wasn't something you can open in plain text
