It's not the best way to convert mods, but in the mod look for a file named "manifest.sii"

Open that with notepad and look for lines that look like this:

compatible_versions[]: "1.50.*"

Remove all of them, or change to the version you want to use it in.

If it's a steam workshop mod, then there is also a version file uploaded with the mod, that's a different story that I can't explain in a few words.

Adding or removing compatible versions doesn't always make the mod working well. Always check the game log for errors and warnings related to the modified mod.

Changing this line in the manifest doesn't "convert" or "update" a mod. This only changes the line that tells the system for which version(s) of the game the mod is intended. Unless you know for certain that the mod doesn't need to be updated to accommodate the new game changes, then you still end up with a broken mod that the game now thinks should be compatible because you said so. ;)

+1
I have been using mods for years and always when new game updated I changed the version number in the manifest file. As stated above, it will now work always as it can depend on what has changed in the game esp when its an graphic update.
Having said that, I am still using some mods from 1.36.
