Mod Request - Misc.
This... might be asking a bit, but.. I think it would be neat if we could have some RPG events.. or mechanics or something that could affect our heroes.

What do I mean by this.

Well, I was thinking about a sort of... hero relationship mechanic, something that could cause our heroes to get buffs when fighting with each other. I'm gonna use another game as a sort of reference for this. The game is WIldermyth, in this game your heroes could form bonds with each. One of three different bonds. Romantic, Rivalry, or Friendship. Each level of the bond they got different bonuses. In the case of a Romantic bond, if an enemy struck your partner, you would get bonus damage against that specific enemy. Or in case of Rivalry, if your rival got a crit on an enemy, your crit chance would increase until you crit.

In AOW4 I think a sort of similar system could work out and give more... personality to our heroes. (Perhaps even some personality traits could be added, but I might be asking too much)

Our heroes will be able to form bonds that can upgrade during the course of a game and they have two effects. One if they are in supporting army as leader and a second effect if they are embedded in an army but are not the leader.

I'm just going to give a brief example using one of those three relationships, because I think that will get the idea across.

---Friendship---

Army Commanders - If both Friends are army commanders, they will give each other's armies +1 Defense and Resistance (Maybe it doesn't stack?) per level of friendship.

Embedded heroes - If one or both Friends are embedded in armies in the same battle, they will instead confer a +2 Resistance and Defense Bonus (Per Friendship level) when standing next to each other.

If anyone could make some sort of similar system where you can proc events that allow such bonds to form and level up over time, that would be amazing.

Tell me your thoughts? Do you like it or hate? Is it impossible to do? Unnecessary complication?
