Does anyone else hate how sensors/switches work?

i was making a bomb and i want it to be very small maybe at most 15 parts and i want it to be 2 ish studs long but it complicates things when all signals are turned off when its disconnected from the main build. yes i could put a receiver on it but i can type words and be annoying instead

i also just had another thought, i think fluppi should add smaller receivers if were really forced to use them

they take a while to get used to
it's hard to find information about them too
