Black Mesa - Blue Shift MOD. Part 2


So,I've played through it all.Till the jump in the portal.To the XEN.In a way it reminds me of first time playing Black Mesa back in the day.I Remember the same scenario taking place.I've stopped in BM as well before XEN.Creating that part of the game, is very hard.The expectations from players are high!

What is your must in XEN chapters?


I think they will deliver.I personally would love to see some new content to the DLC.

Story telling,
I love how the HECU collective made the story unfold as you go through each chapter.The duo, well with Barney it makes a trio, security force is amazing.They have their own bond being told and played out.Though, they seem to be on god mod.Blasting through everything.But hey, in HL series, important allies are the same.Alyx, HL2, am I right?

Sadly currently, without looking for any videos, I've found gman only one time at the start of the game.Riding the train.It leaves me wondering, how many times you can see him?



Weapons,and more....

I've personally like the weapon choice, but in my opinion it could have few new ones as well added.Maybe created version of the pistol you had in HL:BL, the handgun,I think.Or was it in HL:OF?

What guns you wish to see in the future updates of the mod?

I am looking forward to play my self the finished project of the MOD.I know that the Xen chapter will be worth the wait.



The armor plates.

I don't know how others who have played the MOD, view the armor plates.I find them very small.Actually first time paying attention to them was already outside, before the very first interaction between Barney and the army.I found few laying the guard post.Maybe the model could be a bit bigger?What you say guys?



The secret areas of the map...

I see you guys are rewarding people for exploring.Like it was in the original HF.Big plus.But possible adding more of those through out the game?It could serve as a good story telling too.Maybe add an vented possibility in early chapters of the game.Where you can go through a vent,where an corner turns right,and that is a dead end with ammo and an armor plate?But going through, you can look inside of an office room, where an scientist has shot him self in the head, because of the stress.It could mislead, in to thinking that the scientist had more connection with the explosion.With the trap.



What would you like to see added in game?What could you give for a feedback to the authors?
