Need Help with Workshop Bug

So this is a bug I've had ever since the update from 1.13 to 1.14. Certain specific mods, I'm going to use MD as an example, are completely broken for me. I'll install them on the Workshop, I'll enable them, but when I boot up the game it loads up on Vanilla for me despite some of them (Such as MD) being total Overhaul mods.

I'm going to post some screenshot links here so you can visualize what's going on, but I'll explain it too. Hopefully Steam won't nuke the links.

Like I said, I'm going to use MD as an example. The mod does not appear under the normal Playsets tab, however it does appear under the Add More Mods subtab at the top right corner. Screenshot: {LINK REMOVED}

I'm able to add the game to the main Playsets tab, however I can't enable it, and 2 triangles show up next to the name. The Red Triangle says the installation of the mod has failed due to the mod's descriptor file being "invalid or non-existent", and the Orange Triangle is just the one telling me this mod is outdated and meant for version 1.13, coinciding with what I said earlier about the switch to 1.14 breaking certain mods for me. I've also hovered over the 3 dots that appear to find the files for the mod, but no files appear when I click the option. Screenshot: {LINK REMOVED}

When I go to the All Installed Mods tab, the mod does appear, however again it gives me the Error Triangles and says the mod was added on the 12th day of the 15th month of 2023. Mind you now I have this mod completely uninstalled and March of last year I even purged all my current subscriptions and resubscribed to them to see if that would solve the problem. It also states the mod is almost 5 gigabytes in size when I'm pretty sure in actuality the mod is just under 1. Screenshot: {LINK REMOVED}

I have had this bug for over 2 December's now and I want to know if I'm somehow the first person to discover this or if I'm lucky and someone else has had this and knows what to do. i HAVE uninstalled, reinstalled, and verified the game numerous times throughout the past 14 months but nothing works. If anyone can possibly help me with this, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

Edit 1: Sorry that the screenshot links are broken! I can try to describe them better if that would help. Also, I forgot to mention that the mods that are broken for me on the Workshop are perfectly fine for me if I install them through the Paradox Plaza. The AI is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up but the mods do load in properly. I have no earthly idea why the Steam version would be broken for me but the Paradox version would be just fine.

I don`t know how familiar u are with the game files. And i can`t tell u about MD since i don`t use it myself! Have u open up the descriptor file?? If not use notebook and open it and change supported version to "1.15.*" and save. If u still got the message that descriptor file is missing, only thing i know of then is unsubscribe and subscibe again. This might be obvious but u have to change the version again! U find the files under steamlibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/394360

So I resubbed to the mod and I did check the files, and it says that the mod does support Version 1.15. The problem is, however, that both the broken 1.13 version of the mod and the new 1.15 version shows up, however when I enable the 1.15 version it still just loads up Vanilla.

I can`t help u directly, i can only help u with understand why it is like that. So u can search for a solution easier. I had a HD crash some weeks ago and had to change it. Before that i had 4-5 mods i actually didn`t used anymore told me that the descriptor file was missing. I knew that was not the fact and that where updated correct. But when i innstalled steam and Hoi4 again on my new HD. Those mods show no error after i updated them to 1.15.*. The error was not in the mod itself but had to be in the memory of Hoi4 files. And that is what u have as a problem. I don`t know how to empty cashe, but i will search for how to do that. This is just one step. I can`t promise it would help u. But it is a fair chance!

No that wont help u because u only moved the game files. All files related to steam and saved files for hoi is still on your main disk! Including cashe files! I suppose u have checked that u don`t have that mod in a older version still innstalled but under a different file name!!!
If u can`t fix it another good mod is extended tech tree mod goes to 1960. I use that one!

clearing cashe is easier than i thought! In the game settings there is a option for this. I have never used it, so i did not remember it was there. Have u tryed that one!! If that don`t work either i run out of ideas. Sorry but i tryed!
