Id really like to speed up gameplay in general, battles take forever. What I wouldnt give for a fast forward button but I guess thats only for emulators lol.

Sadly I think the skills required in order to skip the valley segment is something beyond just changing values in the game files. I don't know too much but I assume you would have to use the unity engine to edit that much of the game. So until someone with game development experience makes a mod to do just that, we are ♥♥♥♥ out of luck.

I used to use cheat engine mod on nexus mods a long while ago for this exact purpose; among other things it allowed you to speed up the game by multitudes of 2. I stopped using it though because playing like that after a while kind of made me sick of the game(also physically nauseous). But it does not matter anymore because I think the most recent update made that mod incompatible(I could be wrong, you should check for yourself)

There's a faster driving mod, but that's just about it for moment-to-moment gameplay tweeks.

Okay I get it. I already sent a request to Red Hook for an option to skip the prologue. But I can't promise it's gonna happen.
