(mapping) Should prefab abuse be an concern ?
I make an map... and there many objects i have hard times to say i can find in game, one of ways i can sorta implement them in map is via prefabs, yet i not realy sure how good is rendering and if i should be aware of overcrowding maps with props

RN i mapping an panelka wich is litheraly an living space wich is expected to feature lots of junk and etc, and even in DK1 wich featured only half-block of it - i had reports that it was bugy due all of the decorations (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=894151291) so i even updated it at some point removing many details in map

Also even i am on "https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3056594429&searchtext=pizza+place" had a little lag when combat starts/nades get thrown into places

So.. i wish to hear from devs and/or comunity about how is you code/rendering doing / how is you specs

The objects that hurt performance the most are thinking humans (enemies/civilians).
Other than that, keep the number of entities below what the editor recommends (below 4-5k or so) and you should be fine.

Of course it also depends on your hardware, but most PCs will be fine with it
