Bent Tracks (Possible?)

Is it possible to skin a track which is curved down in the middle, like those old sonic special stages?

I've seen all kinds of loop and corkscrew mods, though now I wan't a mod that works like that sonic mode.

I'm late to the party, but something a little like this, perhaps? Not the best screenshot there, but it gets the idea across...

That's awesome, my main worry would be it feeling unnatural floating midair to catch them.

Yeah, it's a little weird that there's no roof there to stand on...I can't do anything artistic to save my life, modeling included. At very least, you fall off the roof if you ever stop moving up there, so it's not like you can just levitate forever.

Edit: Put a roof on the pipe and made the track translucent. The ring placement logic could probably use some work, but...I dunno, I feel like this might be good enough for an initial release. Thoughts?
