Low resolution models for increased FPS performance
It would be great if someone could add some undetailed low polygone models to the Steam workshop. Just got the game, but FPS is far too low even with graphics set to lowest settings. It becomes too laggy to be any fun. A console command revealed that it is "waiting for GPU" all the time. I have an Intel HD 4000 which works nicely on source based games, but completely fails here.

There is a set max framerate on the menu. Try overriding by typing maxfps 0 in the console when you're in the menu.

Which is quite reasonable. Unlimited FPS can cause problems (people had overheating issues with cheap hardware on Starcraft 2 menus).

bump
People should post full specs.
RiotOfDoom - You are on a laptop. Thus likely below the 3 ghz recommended.

OP: If you use an I5 3570K , 4GB 1600 DDR ram, and not a laptop, update intel drivers. Before I used this 7850, i had 40 FPS table even end game.

Thx for the response. Man. Am I really doomed because I play on a Laptop?...

Laptops tend to use slow CPUs. Lua is CPU intensive. So yeah, you're basiclly doomed. Try to end every background process that isn't essential. You can use the Razer Game Booster ♥♥♥♥ if you're not familiar with that.

I know it m8. But I´m not gonna register for it. Why should I give them information about me?
I´ll better use the IO bit GameBooster. It doesn´t stink like an advert agent

Razer GameBooster used to be a big deal for me, but since the update, it's just a waste of RAM (150 mb)
