NS2 mods are now live!

We JUST shipped NS2 Build 221, which includes proper mod support. We are very pumped about this. Keep a look out for ghosts and new maps on your favorite servers!

So how can we run a fully mod on a server? So that everybody that joins download the mod and can play? Which Kind have I to choose when I publish the mods?

It ignores the "type" of mod when you publish currently. You can add mods to your dedicated server on the command line by mod id, although I don't know the exact syntax. You can add them on your listen server by going to the Mods menu, adding mods and then clicking "Activate" for each one. Any mods that are "Active" will automatically be loaded on a listen server. Then anyone that connects to it will auto-download those mods.
