My Wishlist for coming updates (workshop related)
I would love to see some of these features :

- Ability to spawn certain power-ups except the random ones (or boxes, or chests)

- Ability to change the Level Timers and that its not taken from the "single player" savegame, i currently have 40 seconds on all userlevels

- Roadsigns, or somewhat like that, they could use the same engine as the talkable npcs like smitty, but could be used to do short instructions or similar stuff

- Bigger Mapsize ? Is it possible to get that map bigger than 1500 ? in my chase its all about the height, but it would be neat to be more flexible

- Custom Pictures for workshop items, the overview picture gets taken by the editor and that isnt that interesting most of the times. Custom screenshots would look alot cooler i guess

- to be continued ...

just post more ideas or feedback on mines

i guess a delete map on the editor would be nice, on my attempt to create 1 cool map i did a few "beta" steps that i cant delete no more, or i just havent found out yet how

i think being able to lock in a certain weapon loadout for a custom map might be cool also.

my suggestions: Fixed selectable tilesets in map edit (not random, it bugs me how it changes on every test play), quick reset button in map testing, own maps automaticly added to custom maps list.

I sure hope the devs read this.

there was no feedback on this by megadev at all, i dont know whether he knows that his workshop has a own discussion board because he always posted on the regular one...

I dont think they read anything..

They read a lot, they're extremely active for a company who are developing other titles. Feature requests can be difficult to implement, and I'm betting the map editor was never designed to accommodate high-tech edging functions.

i would honestly like to make a horizontal map even, even though the game is a vertical map all the time it would be cool to make horzontal maps aswell

you should be able to put weapon unlocks and special power drops and items in maps. That way we dont have to spend days looking for them. Kinda like terrarias map editor that allows you to put all weapon and armor drops in a map

I hope they add all of this to the game!

These are all great ideas, but the game was built with certain restrictions in mind, and implementing most of the above ideas at this stage would be hellish or open up multiple cans of worms! They have been noted though! :)
Does that mean you have to close the topic?
