Removing black outlines, warping and creating shapes are just not possible, as the object editor is more focused on editing and creating the objects themselves, rather than shape editing. It can be tough, but it's still quite possible to create good looking creations. And if you see something on someone else's object, don't hesitate to ask them how they did it!
