Possible bug with custom avatars
Is it just me, or do custom avatars stand on the ground lower than other people and avatars? That is, other characters and avatars' feet end around the bottom of my custom avatar's torso.

Collision generation for custom objects is a bit funky. Many objects have limbs and stuff that breach the original objects collision shape, so the bottom of the feet is used to determine the offset from the ground. In the arrow (movement??) tab, there is a dotted box button that lets you see the green bounding boxes for each limb. These are also used to determine which limb to attach a stamp to, based on your pointer location. Its important to pay attention to how or what you do with those feet boxes.

For instance, if you took a humanoid and moved their feet to the position of their arms, and then moved their arms to the position of their feet, I believe the collision would be generated at the bottom of their torso like you are describing.

I made absolutely sure to attach the legs to the leg bounding boxes. I made sure that the bottoms of the feet were lined up perfectly with the bottoms of the leg bounding boxes. Yet, it still does that.

I believe it has something to do with dragging the legs to the trash. Other people have been working around the issue by simply putting the leg stamps on top of the original art and or potentially scaling the legs down.

That worked...kinda...although now my avatar is standing a bit HIGHER on the ground than the others...anyway, thanks!

I have the same issue. I put new legs on him, and they are fully within the bounding boxes, but he still uses the torso for land collision.

I wonder if the Wii U version has the same problem?
Wish i could have kept my andriod D:

I'm having the same problem with my avatars so I'm trying to figure out why. How big are the avatar's legs compared to Maxwell?

As long as you don't drag the legs to the trash, the game should still use them for collision generation. There is also a button to show an image of maxwell next to your creation so you can see the relative size of things.
