I am very much tormented by the question of applying textures in various 3d applications.

I have adobe substance 3d, photoshop and blender. I have never learned what to do in a blender and the substance, which can cause great difficulties.

I avoid using zbrush and 3d coat, since I'm saving money now, I can't spend it on a license.

What are the alternatives to the last two apps? What programs do you use to create?

I would really like to try myself in this field at least once, since I am still studying to be a graphic designer, I feel an obligation to do something.
