OSRH - Armed Forces of The Republic of Croatia (1991-1995)

　


In the late 1980s and very early 1990s, Yugoslavia began to show signs of cracking, it was in 1991 that it ceased being the once great western Balkan entity with Croatia and Slovenia declaring independence on the 25th of June 1991. This lead to Krajina Serbs rejecting this succession from Belgrade and sought to form their own Serbian state. The conflict began on ‘Bloody Easter’ and ending in August 7th 1995 with the final major military operation known as; Operation Storm. The war displaced over 500,000+ in Croatia and had as many ~30,000 deaths from both sides, along with civilians too.




A Disclaimer. All RHS mods are used and because of this, not all assets can, and are 100% accurate to the Croatian army in 1991-1995. Some compromises had to be made to have a rounded army and not one lacking equipment. In the place of the M80-A is the BMP-2, due to lack of T-55s, the M-84 (T-72) has been used. The UAZ was never used by Croatia but is in there to have a light armoured off-road vehicle in. Remember, it is meant to emulate the Croatian Army in those dark times.

This must be known before getting into any serious editing for missions.

• There is more gear than what is in the pre-set units, check out the Herzeg-Bosnia items too!
  
• Remember to remove symbols off some of the land vehicles as they impose over the Croatian insignia. It's done in the image below by clicking on the vehicles attributes and setting it to 0.
