Description
Adventure is here:

9 part build. 4 parts, 4 claims, for the lower half. 4 more parts, same 4 claims, for the upper half. Cornerstone 9 of 9 is only needed for the very edge of the bays, as the build completely filled the 4 claims, but the largest capture block only captures 63x63x63, so each was 1 block short.

Signs are placed to help point you where cornerstones go, and as before cornerstones go at the end of arrows (except 9 of 9, which has its own sign for direction). Since blocks are now purchasable, I did my best to limit duplicate blocks among the parts. The upper & lower half share only a single slice of blocks, which is the slice containing the upper walkaways. In this way, placing the first cornerstone begins the walkway, which points you to where to place further cornerstones, and allows the lower cornerstones to build the walkway which will direct you where to place the upper cornerstones.

The station has 4 lower quarters devoted to various purposes: food & social gathering, scientific research, rest & relaxation, and work & administration. The upper structures house the station's cutting-edge, state-of-the-art power source: 4 ginormous AA batteries (way better than fiddling with nuclear power). To extend battery life, a large solar harvesting grid extends "below" the station, though in space, up & down are relative. At the very top is a planetarium with flashing stars & illuminated floors. Below the living quarters is a basement for storage, and between the two is a subfloor which can be accessed through a special door. Above & below the bays are dizzying walkways and cavernous mechanical vaults, all interconnected by a subfloor too small for human access, but perfect for hostile aliens. One mechanical cavern even features a hive made of slime & bones, and a nearby sleep chamber has a display lit up inside warning of a breach & a detected anomaly. The station is littered with robot NPCs who greet you in various ways, some of which are wired to turn on & off (the rusty mechanic turns off by entering 0 in his number pad) and computers displaying retro game & software references, song lyrics, funny messages, and random Wikipedia quotes (including Twinkee ingredients).

As builds are likely to pass the freeze zone, the R&R quadrant includes a heated pool of mineral water that will keep you nice & toasty. All 5 elevators have molasses landings, which double as heat sources to avoid freezing. Looking carefully around the station will turn up other heat sources for clever opportunists, most commonly the industrial chimney which has been used for wheels, robot heads, and drum kit parts.

Some inspirations, such as Spaceman Spiff & Roger Wilco, may not be recognized by as wide an audience these days. Others, such as Spaceballs, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and the Aliens movies, will be obvious to most people I think. The RemyDroid makes an appearance, courtesy of one "TheRemyD" who is also mentioned in a chat on one of the computer screens (coincidentally, he's asking where his droid is). And visiting UnluckyFriedKitten's zone put the idea of robots in my sheepy little head, & it just took off from there.
