Happiness Matters (WH2/ME)

Description
In vanilla WH2 the level of public order does only affect the High Elf factions. This mod adds this game mechanic to all other factions, but only affects the tax income. It increases or decreases the tax income of a province in relation to how happy its inhabitants are (from -15% to +15%). The effect is shown by a small icon at the bottom of the province summary window. This only works for factions that can own provinces and also affects the AI.

COMPATIBILITY

Works for WH2 and ME. Can be installed and uninstalled at any time.

You are right. Should be fixed now.

Wow thanks for the quick update! I quickly just tested it - were the 'troubled populace' and 'unhappy populace' public order LOS values meant to be the other way around? Right now public order bonuses go +6/+4/+8 and LOS values go from 2%/5%/0% at -25/-50/75 public order in a city.

Added the public order counterbalance system to keep the mod better in line with CA's balance changes.

I tested this mod separately from others. Some factions have new vanilla mechanics overlapping yours. For high elves, for example, if public order is from -25 to -49, then high elves receive +4 public order per turn.

In vanilla, now that you have high public order, you are given from -4 to -8 public order. And when the public order is low from +4 to + 8. As for me, this is a degenerative mechanic that allows you to forget about the buildings that give public order.

Haven't played the game in a while. Can you describe more precise what they changed? What is this counterbalancing public order mechanic?
