Heroes Uniform Pack I - World War Two

This uniform adds in five uniforms and three berets for five famous commanders from Commonwealth militaries in World War Two. Each uniform custom fit with the rank and unit insignia also includes a custom medal bar aimed to reflect the officer's awards. The officer's included are as follows:

Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery

Montgomery was one of the most famous British commanders during the Second World War. Famed by his victories in North Africa, he rose to the top quickly within the British Army. Involved with the planning of Operation Husky and Overlord he would see himself promoted to Field Marshal and in command of the 21st Army Group whose uniform is reflected in this mod.

Lieutenant-General Bernard Freyburg

Freyburg served with the British Army in World War One and was awarded the Victoria Cross for his acts of heroism. He would command the 2nd New Zealand Infantry Division in the fight against the Germans in Greece and later lead the defence on the small island of Crete. He would be evacuated and fight with the division in North Africa and later Italy.

Lieutenant-General Brian Horrocks

Horrocks was a dynamic leader who was famed for his command of the British XXX Corps. XXX Corps was the lead element during Operation Market Garden. Horrocks was referred to as the "beau ideal" of a corps commander. A personable gentleman who made an impression on everyone he connected with.

Lieutenant-General Guy Simmonds

Simmonds, who started out with the Royal Canadian Artillery brushed through the high ranks of the Canadian Army and would see himsef leading II Canadian Corps in North-West Europe. Simmonds who was only in his early fourties during the war often set records for the youngest commander in each of his respective positions within the entirety of the Empire.

Major David Vivian Currie

David Vivian Currie fought with the South Alberta Regiment during the Second World War with the 4th Canadian Armoured Division. During the fight to relieve the stranded Polish troops on HIll 262, Currie led an breakthrough assault which would see him receiving the Victoria Cross, the British Empire's highest award for gallantry.
