Boeing 747-8i | plotz' hangar

Description
Update v.2: Tried fixing Nav light positions, fixed docking position, fixed headlights.

The latest incarnation of the iconic "Queen of the Skies" - the 747-8i. Brought to you by plotz' hangar. Quality planes that add flavour to your fleet.
A majestic plane, that unfortunately never quite took off from a commercial point of view.

The Boeing 747-8i comes with the following specs:

Capacities:
f/d: 2
f/a: 10
pax: 525
fuel: 305,000L (@0,8kg/l)
Requires a 300 tiles long runway and a very large gate.

This plane is based on the original B747 ingame template. It has been amended with the typical blended winglets, stretched to the correct relative (upper deck) size and equipped with four GEnX powerplants. Was 570 pax, but the maximum value of 525 pax is reset with every change on Steam. Just imagine a typical three/four-class long-haul configuration and you are about right.

You may use this plane for your airlines and recreations - please do credit me if you do so. I may supply a multi-layered painting template later on.

Disclaimer: I am adding "plotz hangar" as sort of a brand name to all my planes I deem to be worthy of being workshop content. This originates to me not being happy with the quality of some of the content that has been uploaded here.

Happy landings!

Hi Bowserking,

the template for the B747-8i is more a working version I used to create the plane. If it is of any use to you, feel free to use it.

Here you go: http://filehorst.de/d/cmstncdC

The templates for e.g. the Saab and the A319-321 series are much better to work with. I can of course supply these on request :) .

do you have any layered versions of your templates?
