Hello good people of the Brickrigs community, today I bring you a Helicopter even more historical than the UH-1 Iroquois "Huey", Today is a day that I bring you a rotercraft BEFORE America joined WWII, this is the 1942 VS-300!

Dr.Igor Sikorsky was yet another early innovator, most well known for creating the Sikorsky company aswell as the
VS-300 Helicopter. Dr.Sikorsky was a Russian born man, who soon moved to America establishing himself as an American Engineer. In the years before World War Two, he would work on his own Helicopters Vought, though his helicopters where not the first, his design for the basic structure of a helicopter sticked, Single shaft, and a counter acting tail rotor.

This was a very new way to build helicopters aswell as helicopters being a new idea in general, the first being made in Germany only years before. The VS-300 was never broght into war use, or even commercial; but this did not stop Sikorsky, the R-4 became to First and ONLY helicopter to fight with the allies in WWII, and the only heicopter in WWII to be Mass-Produced. On October 26th 1972, Sikorsky Died at the the age of 83 in Conneticut, USA.
He left a large mark in history for the future of Rotorcraft; and for that, he is now one of the greatest innovators in History.

So Back to Brick Rigs: This is the Best I could do with limeted time and parts, I wanted to make a Very historical Aircraft, and somthing cheap, but whole for conquest mode, this also made me have to create a custom Shaft (Thank you for reminding me about that TomLocoXD.) so this was based most strickly off of the version of it after 1941, I could not find that many colorized photos, so I had to picture the color scheme; AND BEFORE YOU ASK yes it is made out of white chrome, I wanted to make it more shiny than Aluminum, and all the while making it Pop, so yes, I am glad I chose chrome.

The biggest challange was the custom shaft, I didn't want it to be too low, then it would look un-realistic (or I guess MORE un-realistic.) The most annoying thing I found though is that I can't put a 3RD BLADE ON THE SHAFT, When I did, it was un-even, so I am sorry for that issue, I plan to resolve it on future helicopters, if possible.
