I think, just make a new one. Redesignate this mod as OUT OF DATE or something.

The mod is almost reforged.

I'm not sure if I should edit this post
or create another one to avoid some disruptions ?

The mod still works, mostly, but when you try to use the weapon mount, you get warnings from the game. So this mod is not entirely functional.
Hope the work is still ongoing, but no rush. Hopefully it'll be released and have a lot more components to build with.
