Descriere
This mod prevents planets from flipping control to the owner of the local starbase in 2.0. This allows two empires to share a single system, such as might happen when one planet rebels.

Planetary rebellions now generate disputed systems where appropriate, without taking over the starbase in those systems. If you are not also using Caligula Caesar's Potent Rebellions 2.0 mod, 1) you really should be, and 2) rebels will tend to be Despicable Neutrals.

Added 2 CBs and matching war goals so you can attack disputed systems without claims (that you're not allowed to have on your own starbases). One is for the case where the enemy capital is in dispute, another for where the rebels joined another empire, who won't fight you as hard.

For now at least, releasing a vassal planet still gives them the system stations and starbase, just not your planet. Since that's the only way to give them a military shipyard, I'm inclined to leave that as is.

I want to create an Expanse type scenario from rebellious colonies in my Primitive Players mod, but figured this might be a useful feature as a standalone for other mods to work with.

I'm suspicious of anything that seems easy, so be on the lookout for unexpected side effects and please report them ASAP. I try to be good about bugfixing quickly since I'm farming off most of the bughunting duty on you guys.

Good question TBH. I've been out of the Stellaris modding game for a long time now and I truly don't know. Help yourself to the code and try your hand at updating it. I only make mods cuz I want to play with them, I'd much rather play someone else's that does the same thing if it exists.

Is this even possible anymore?

im glad youre still arround to want to make this mod come back, its a feature ive only seen in past videos of stellaris when it first came out and it bummed me out that it was removed so much when i finally got it years later tbh

Oh damn Shared System Ownership! I want it back so much!

And it's not like it's impossible :b... They kinda did it in the Fear of the Dark Origin :/

Some day there will be a stable code base and I will have free time and get the bug to play that expanse version of Stellaris and set to work again to making it. no clue when that day will come at this rate tho.

Every time I come back to this game and I realize this feature made it what it was it ruins it for me. I used to pair this with pre-ftl, the belt, true scale, beautiful battles, and a couple other mods to really get that Expanse vibe. Game sucks now without that experience. I pick it up, play for a day or two, then put it back down for another year or so. Rinse and repeat. Will never be the same.

I miss sharing system feature. It added to immersion and realism.

Having contested systems in this mod and old stellaris was so cool, wish someone would pick this up again.
